We are in the process of looking for a photographer and cinematographer.
I have looked at stillmotion and love their work but it is just way too expensive. I have read about Studio910 being similar but I was wondering if anyone here have hired them and what they think of them?

@KaylayBonita: I booked studio910 as the cinematographer for my wedding. I haven’t actually met the person yet, but my parents did (I’m in England, wedding in Toronto in June, I am originally from Toronto), and they liked him.
In terms of correspondence, initially the person was quite good, but lately hasn’t been responsive, so I wonder a little – as many of the vendors have kept in good contact. I suppose there’s not too much to get in contact about for the cinematography until closer to the date, but still – it has been a bit unnerving with the lack of respone to email queries.
They’re booked now, so all I can hope is that the people from studio910 will show up. The one thing is though, that the person who runs it lives 5 minutes from where my parents live, so we’ll be able to track them down if anything.

Check out Darlington Studios! They are ridiculously talented, and nowhere close to the pricing of Still Motion. I cannot recommend them enough. Here is their website: http://www.darlingtonstudios.com/videography/
If you want to take a look at my highlight film, here it is: http://vimeo.com/48702162
My friend just got married there as well, and their wedding vid was great! http://vimeo.com/66772572
Let me know if have any questions, they are most definitely amazing.
