I need help Bees!
I am struggling with this Videography thing. For a couple of years now, videography was something I was very interested in having at my wedding, and something I wanted done right. There are things I know I may or may see or really appreciate bc of all the busy things going on on a wedding day. I’ve aways said I’ll cut costs in other areas to save money for the videography. Now that my wedding is real, I am really planning it, and I know my real budget I am stuck on what to do!
I found a fantastic videographer who will charge $1260 for what I want. And he has the credentials and the equipment to do a good job. On the other hand, I have a friend who has taken film and film editing classes in college and could potentially do a good job. Only 1. She doesn’t have the experience and 2. She doesn’t have state of the art equipment. But using her would save half of the price. We’d only spend about $400-500 on her! I have an editing system to edit the footage myself.
What are your opinions?! Has anyone had this dilema or know someone who has?! Share details and outcomes please!
