- Wedding: July 2011
I’ve recently become a bit obsessed with videography. I found two companies in Pittsburgh that I’d love to go with, but they are pretty pricey…around 6K. I would go with someone cheaper, but I love the quality of their film…it’s very clear/HD/not grainy.
My cousin is in the wedding and is currently getting her masters in Media Production. She has a small wedding videography business, but obviously cannot film my wedding. She offered to edit for me because it would look nice for her portfolio. My question is, do videographers often only give their customers raw footage? I don’t want to offend anyone, but I would really like a quality film, and this is the only way that I can think to get it. Before I started contacting companies, I wanted to see if anyone else had done that and if anyone had gotten offended by you having someone else edit it.
Uggghhhhh….why is videography so expensive?! (Well, I know why…but I wish it wasn’t!)
