I booked a budget wedding videographer LOL… I almost wasn’t getting video, but figured it would be better than a home video. I got a 10 hour package for $1600… very reasonable in this area. The samples they showed me are kinda cheesy, but my main concern is the ceremony filmed high quality, which it was.
Now my package includes a DVD “Love Story” also referred to as the love walk… what is this?! It sounds kinda cheesy so I might just waive that part. Does anyone even do those anymore? They didn’t really explain too well what it is.

Sometimes it could pictures of the two of you as babies, then growing up, then when you met, etc.
For us though, it was a montage that they put together of us taking pictures after our ceremony.
You’re gonna have to ask the company on this one.

They weren’t very clear, they said something about a short video before the wedding going on a walk…… I dont see the point?

The best thing to do would be talk to your videographer. They should be able to explain everything for you.

It actually sounds like a cute idea to me, and if it’s already included in the package, why not just go with it?

@europomme: Generally it’s a stylized video of you telling how you and your fiance met and the proposal story.

If something comes free in my package, you bet I’mma use it. In this case, you might just parlay it into something else you want. Maybe they can do an extra video montage of you guys set to song OR maybe asking guests to give you well wishes etc.

I normally have this mentality, but we are really camera shy, and I already hate seeing myself on video as it is… I really just wanted a videographer for coverage of the ceremony… some of their stuff that they showed me seems a bit cheesy, so I’m worried it would be a waste.
Thanks everyone for the help.
@YSQueen, it’s probably that, thanks for clarifying 🙂
