    i think a veil would look lovely with short hair! you only get to do it once you know 😉 and i really think it completes the “bride” look.

    all depends on you though, i loooove the flowers in the hair, or any kind of hair accessorie for that matter. i plan on wearing a veil for the ceremony and a flower for the reception.

    I think veils look good with any hair length. As long as the veil compliments your dress well it is fine.

    @DCSquared:

    Heya,

    Yeah i’m going for a veil, I like the tradition of it and I think it suits me and the dress as well as adding a bit of drama as i’ve been converted to having a cathedral length veil.

    I just looked at your post with you in your dress and I think a veil would really compliment the dress! You can always get a veil with certain clips that are meant for short hair. 🙂

    I’m wearing a veil (not sure whether it will be a birdcage or not, but I’m leaning toward a birdcage veil). I think that if you have a nice, classy dress then a veil is really the finishing touch.

    What about a birdcage veil with a flower fascinator? After the ceremony, you can take the veil off and leave the flower on for the reception.

    I was debating wearing a veil or not too.  I decided to wear a veil (fingertip length) for the ceremony and remove it for the reception.  Tada!  The best of both worlds!

    I didn’t wear a veil and I’m glad. I don’t like the whole “here comes your package” feel and I don’t think anyone even noticed.

    I wore a long cathedral veil for the ceremony and nothing at the reception…it was a personal choice. I think y ou would look lovely with a veil though!
