oooh! I LOVE that venue. I would have, but my fiance wanted Santa Barbara. My mother went to high school there at alverno. Her best friend was married there after high school. I saw the pictures. My friends have been to weddings there and it’s awesome. That is the site of Gun’s n Roses “November Rain” video where they had the reception and Stephanie Seymour wore the black hot dress.

Do it!

When I first started wedding planning I thought that the site fee of $5000 was high. But it’s not because if you have your ceremony and reception there, that’s close to what you would pay if you booked two different places. Also, their catering is really reasonable. I think you can bring in your own alcohol which is really great. You will save so much money. I think that the fee is worth it.

After all, it’s a copy of Michaelangelo’s only architecture piece! W-O-W. I want to live vicariously through you. Let me know what you decide.

If you haven’t picked your florist, Lenora Moss in Sierra Madre is great. I taught those ladies exercise.

Goodness, I die. If your date is available and it works with your budget, I say do it. It’s so gorgeous and ridiculously popular. The rental fee is quite high but I think the catering has pretty decent pricing. I think the only pain is the fact you have to bring in everything but it’s doable. If you haven’t already, check the knot bio of greengelato (just Google the name and it should pop up). Also, check out the photography blogs of Jasmine Star, Hazelnut Photography, and Stephanie Williams for ste-up ideas. Those are the only blogs that I can think that have shot there this year. Good luck!
