- Wedding: February 2017 - Seattle, WA
So i’ve spent all day not working at work. Instead, I’ve been planning my theme and colors for our backyard wedding, which I just decided will have a slight vintage feel to it. I’m just dying to share my ideas with you guys, so please feel free to give me honest feedback.
The venue: Fiance’s uncle’s large backyard. (Well we technically haven’t asked him yet… but i’m sure he’d be happy to host!!)

Here’s a close up:
Shoes: Because we’re on grass and I want to be comfy, I plan to find light coral or dusty pink colored ballet flats, and possible add vintage heart pins. Below are some shoes I like and the pins.
To go with the “vintage” feel and also match our color scheme of coral, yellow, and kraft, I’m trying to find a delicate cameo necklace. I’d also love to find a bracelet like the one in the photo above of the dress.
I’m a little worried this might be too much for the dress. What do you think?
I love this light gray suit!
Our color scheme is coral, yellow, and kraft.
To tie in the coral and yellow, I plan to buy 3 types of patterned fabric that match the colors. I’m going to cut them into no-sew cloth napkins using pinking shears. I like these fabrics:
The table runners will be burlap.
I’m going to use the same fabric to make bunting and hang above the dessert table.
The favors will be kraft boxes tied with ribbon in the wedding colors, each containing a smores kit.
My bouquet will look something like this:
And lastly, I plan to have clusters of 3 or more vintage looking frames of various sizes placed in different areas, kind of like these, but larger:
What do you guys think? Too much? Too little? Any ideas for easy, non-floral centerpieces?
