I wouldn’t necessarily say a pashmina is vintage, however, it’s still a great alternative.

Its harder to find cardigans during the off season. Once summer is over there will be many more cardigans, and wraps available for in anticipation of the cooler weather in fall and winter, you may have better luck then

check target and search “pink cardigan” – they have a few cute ones, but i dont know what shade of pink you’re looking for

how about:

faux fur shoulder wraps

fuzzy angora wraps

bolero jackets, jackie-0 style.

(bonus: add a sparkly starburst pin or some other vintage looking rhinestone pin to ay of these.)

— try etsy for any of these things.

and as bells said, fall fashions come out super early. you might be able to find what you’re looking for in late august or early september!

instead of matching the cardigan perfectly to the pink of the dress, I think it would look better to go with a slightly different color– like darker pink, lighter pink, or white.

start as early as you can. just like there are different blacks, there are different undertones to pink too.

those dresses you chose are super cute, by the way!

@janie-janie: the dresses are midnight- not pink.
