I say you choose the colors you love for your wedding. It’s your big day and everyone will have opinions. You getting what you want and love is most important. I’ve never once thought of wedding colors in terms of what season it is!

It’s your wedding, you can have any color you want to.. I LOVE the scheme you picked out, despite the time of year youre getting married – I really don’t think that matters.

hjfleming2066:  who is “everyone”? Just curious. I say do what YOU want (and Fiance of course). Those are the exact colors we are doing as well, though our wedding is in June. I originally wanted a fall or winter wedding, but I doubt I would’ve chosen my colors based on the season. Do what you love and I think it will look great! Especially since where u live it will almost be like summer still anyways 🙂

I think that color scheme is beautiful, and as long as you can get the flowers during that time of year, go for it.

I’m going through something similar as my wedding is in February, so technically I’m a “winter bride”. However, my color scheme is very bright and Spring-esque. My feeling is that the wedding is in Miami, and it’s not like there is going to be snow on the ground.

Plus, who says you have to stick to the seasonal rules, it’s your day!

How ridiculous. We don’t all dye our hair red just because Autumn is coming. Why should we dress our reception tables as trees? This is not a Hallowe’en party it’s your wedding and if the word hate is coming into it, I think you have your answer.

How about pale gold?
