Ok I’ll bite! Mine was my great-grandmother’s and grandmother’s engagement ring, from about 1910. 🙂
I’m also going to use my grandmother’s etched wedding band. What can I saw, I love the sentimentality of heirlooms, plus I am way too cheap to spend that kind of money!

Here is mine. 1.15 transitional cut from the 1920’s. my wedding band is currently being made so I can’t show it yet but it will be a plain white gold band curved to match the contour of my ring.

@fredericksondes: Yay! Mine is a 1920-30s era Edwardian/Art Deco cross-over piece. We bought it at a Jewelry store that specializes in estate and antique jewelry. She’s a beaut, but I can’t ever get my stupid ipod camera thing to focus up! There is one on Etsy just like it, but mine has some filigree on the band, as well as the prongs, that the Etsy ring doesn’t have.

Mine is a vintage reproduction from Leigh Jay Nacht, with a custom made wedding band to match from a local jeweler here in Chicago.

My Engagement Ring is new (white gold and one Canadian diamond) but our wedding bands are made from a pattern developed in 1846 by a Swedish master goldsmith. I’ve posted this photo before, but I’m so looking forward to get our rings that I’ll post it again! 🙂
We’ll have them made in white gold to match the Engagement Ring. The pattern is dedicated to the Swedish province I’m from, feels great to have a ring that represent my country as well as my FI’s!

So many pretty rings on here! I looove antique rings and stones. so much history and character. Mine is 2.5ct OMC ca 1860, it has been set in a reproduction setting though, but it is modelled on a style of that time.
these are some new pics taken recently with my wedding bands.

We just ordered my engagement ring. It’s not yet arrived, but here is a couple of pictures of it. Cannot wait to wear it! It’ll be my nicest piece of jewelry I’ve owned.
It is a Vintage Estate ring, however I do not know it’s history or how old it is.
