@alh56:  I guess it depends on how in shape the original is. I can’t do anything with my original vintage ring because the prongs were worn and I was told that they were unfixable.

I have a vintage repo from Ivy and Rose also.. the center diamond is an OEC, but that’s the only truly vintage part of it.. I love the one you’re thinking of having made… I’ve seen some actual vintage ones very similar to that on certain sellers’ IG feeds but nothing exactly like it.. I love the way the diamonds are set- thats truly unique for that style of ring

I’d love to set this the yellow gold with a moissanite (early 1900s setting).  The band is my grandmother’s engagement band from the 40s. Neither quite mine yet, we’re exploring our options.

My RHR is vintage-inspired. I have new obsession with vintage jewelry and spend way too much time browsing vintage/antique jewelry dealers on IG. 🤦‍♀️

@Bobbys-Girl:  that is really lovely with the blue diamond!! I’ve had that setting saved on my Etsy account for awhile, but it didn’t occur to me that you had that same ring!

@lulubelle2017:  thank you!! Yes! Pull the trigger!! They are WONDERFUL to deal with. Easy to talk to,, honest about how the stone would fit,  just great  service…  This was my “upgrade ” setting using my original engagement ring stone. Absolutely no regrets. I’m considering getting my ears pierced again (long story) just to buy their pretty rose studs….

@kkgrove:  🙂 thank you! This setting is much easier to wear than I expected, if you happen to consider picking one up for yourself 🙂

@Candiceengaged:  I am very intruiged by your three stone design. I haven’t seen any others like it and it is sticking in my mind–in a good way. Do you know what era it dates from?

my husband and I designed mine. We tried to give it a vintage feel.
