@kristi92113:  First off… I absolutely adore this idea.  If I got a Save the date like this I would love it because it is personal.  I have included personal accents through out our day as well, and I used the idea of vintage letters, postcard rsvps and airmail envelopes throughout because my Fiance is in the AF and we had a long distance relationship for a good portion of our dating.  I loved the airmail bc it had red white and blue… and the letters give a subtle nod to the love letters sent and the LDR we had.  Im sure no one else got this reference and just took it all at face value but it means something to me.  I really like the second wording, and as you said you can put this in smaller print.  Im picturing where they usually give a little blurb about the picture on the other side!  I love it and if it were me I would keep it for a scrapbook.  I hope others can recognize the detail that you put in and the closeness of it to your heart!  What a great way to honor someone too.

Brill idea! so romantic! use the second version, less formal, but nicer.

@kristi92113:  You could put it on the photo itself, but I was actually thinking when I have seen postcards you have the photo on the one side then when you flip it over usually in the top left i think there is just a little blurb about the photo.

Such a great idea! I like the 2nd wording better.

I looooooooooooove this idea!  I vote for the more personal wording – it’s softer, and clearer (usually these don’t go together).  And it’s romantic! 🙂
