Hi! I have swallowed Pinterst and Style Me Pretty whole! As I’m in the UK this is costing me loads as the shoes I wanted had to be ordered from the US, now I’m seeing these vintage ring boxes in velvet everywhere yet I can’t find anyone in the UK or Europe who sells them. It seems ridiculous when they are on every style blog. Maybe I’m not searching the right places. I’ve tried Etsy, amazon, Ebay and just googling like mad but nothing.
I emailed the Mr & Mrs website but they didn’t reply and it seems they don’t have stockists here- or do they??? It doesn’t have to be this brand- just this look. All I’m seeing is £2.99 red satin boxes with an 80s styling or genuine but dirty and tattered items from 100 years ago!!
This is what I’m after. Have any UK/European bees had any luck? I need this box in my life and wedding photos!

Try JuliaB on etsy. Much better pricing than the Mrs box too (and from what I hear, less hit or miss on quality) and you get a double row. You can also make them if you are patient and have time. I have seen a few people do this here and there – check out I think the Pricescope thread on them and there is a poster who made them and shows a bit of her process. I think many of the Mrs boxes (if not all) are no longer made with actual vintage velvet anymore anyway which makes them even more overpriced IMO.

RayKay: That’s helpful info, thanks. I also found this lady on Etsy. http://www.thefamilyjoolz.com/listing/268330736/ring-box-vintage-inspired-silver-dove
I think I might have to bite the bullet and order from the US- it just ends up doubling the price with postage and customs but I guess I have no choice!

leonatigra: Oh, good find, I had not seen that vendor before. I do have one of those style boxes but it came with another ring I bought. It’s much cheaper to buy the box all by itself then be buying rings to get them!
I totally get you on the customs and so on. I am in Canada so deal with higher shipping, duties, brokerage, taxes and all that too. I do have the benefit of not living too far from the border if it is going to be a major cost savings to ship there and broker myself. Not really so easy for you 🙂

There is a lovely company in UK England called La Petit Box that does sell these vintage antique inspired heirloom velvet ring boxes and so much much cheaper than The Mrs Box, who in my opinion is riducloiusly expensive. They even offer a monogram service for the vintage style velvet ring boxes too, like The Mrs Box http://www.lapetitbox.co.uk/ and they offer free P&P to Europe and the UK. I found them on Instagram a few weeks ago.
