I personally do not like it but I dislike the 80s anyway.

I don’t like parts of it, but I see the potential in it, especially for your wedding theme.  The sleeves are really cool and I’d leave most of the top untouched.  The bottom should either be given more volume or slimmed down; I’m not really feeling the skirt as it is right now and I think it could be more flattering.  I think this dress could also work well shortened to tea length with a fuller skirt.

MrsBlackCat:  I know some people have said you should keep looking, but I think the dress fits you really well! I like the sleeves. The only part I might change is the applique that drops below the waist. That said, what’s most important is whether or not you love the dress.

If I changed it at all, that’s how I’d do it. I actually think the dress is very flattering and fits extremely well. If you love it, I say buy it!

I actually quite like it! I don’t think the photo or the angle you took it on does it any favours, but I think it could be a lovely dress especially for an 80s themed wedding!

MrsBlackCat:  I am going to say definitely no. It reminds me of my first wedding dress back in the day.

MrsBlackCat:  I so totally want to go to your wedding. It sounds so fun. What made you want to go with an 80’s theme?

I really like the top, the bottom not so much. I could imagine that dress with a full tulle skirt or something though.

Yay! So glad you found a dress after all the issues you’ve had ๐Ÿ™‚ I agree in taking off the lace on the hips and front of the skirt.

So glad you got the dress! It’s going to look great on your wedding day, and that price is seriously making me jealous!
