Ok ok – this is for virgin brides going on a honeymoon!!! haha! Totally me. And my fiance, soon to be wonderful husband. My question is: how much sex are we really going to be having on the actual honeymoon? Looking for past experiences for those who completely saved sex for marriage! xoxo

I know 2 girls that saved themselves for marriage. One is my cousin and one is my friend..
My cousin said she and her husband went at it like bunny rabbits during their honeymoon…
My friend said it was still really painful and she felt bad that she couldn’t have sex as often as he’d like… But I think she mentioned she did it at least one a day or every other day during their honeymoon
THe answer is definitely going to vary person to person… Just go with what your body tells you.. If its uncomfortable and you “force it”, you’re just gonna be really sore and in pain… I would suggest you invest in some lube for your honeymoon.. It might make it easier

This is going to depend on a number of factors.
Because of my faith, I also was a virgin bride, and, because Darling Husband (who had been married before for many years) and I did not do anything together prior to marriage but kiss, it took a several days for us to build up to the actual consummation of our marriage.

I’ll let you know, haha! I’ve been wondering the same thing for awhile now, but we’ll find out in 5 months 🙂

We were virgins, and did at least once a day, starting with the wedding night (and all we had done before was kiss). The wedding night was extremely clumsy and awkward, and for the first few days it was a couple of times a day, then we sort of settled into a once a day routine. Only exception was we stopped for the first day or two of my period.
As for the pain… it was bad enough that I stopped him going all the way in the first few times. I must have had a super strength hymen. He finally broke it after about a week. As a PP said, lube is a must.

Definitely get lube and wait until you are practically DYING to have him inside you. Also, just keep trying for the first few times if you are having pain. I never had pain, but I think I broke myself with a tampon once. If you aren’t having pain, and as the awkwardness goes away, you will love it and want it more!
