I’m not… that was gone a long time ago… but I know a few people who are, I give anyone who can wait total credit bc I 1) know I couldnt and 2) think you need that kind of connection with someone before you marry them and know its a good connection (IMO)

I have spent greater than half my life being a non-virgin.

I waited till I was 21 & lost my virginity to my now husband 🙂 He def was NOT one!

I’m not a virgin, but I do wish that I had waited until I had met my Fiance. 🙂

I lost my virginity to my Fiance. He’s actually my first and last for everything (including “real” kiss!), and I love that. He was only intimate with two other people before me. I actually know several virgins and people who waited for marriage and applaud them for abstaining. Part of me wishes I had, but it just wasn’t for me 🙂

Not. Only one guy before Fiance, though.
And for pretty hilarious reasons, I don’t know that I even count him.

Nope – but I was for much longer than many people I know. I know some virgins (mostly for religious reasons). However, most intercourse virgins I know are not sexual-experience virgins. They’ve all been pretty close to the deed.

I’m a mom. And an Encore bride!!!
As Kramer said five minutes after “the bet” on Seinfeld…
But T and I do wish we’d met in college and been with each other ever since. I <3 my Fiance so much!!!

neither of us are, and i’m pretty sure that none of my friends are either. I can’t imagine getting married and not knowing whether or not we’d be compatable in the bedroom… i think people often forget how important intimacy is in a relationship and if you aren’t compatable in the bedroom, that definitely (at least in past relationships for me & my girlfriends) has led to problems in the relationship.

We’re not, but Fiance was when I met him 😉
I know a lot of virgins, none that are currently engaged but a few that waited until they were married. Sometimes I wish I did!

Oh dear I thought it Said Virginian..

I lost the V-Card after 2 years of dating and after I had already graduated high school- and I was STILL the first by several years in my group of friends to have sex. It wasn’t until this past 6 months that the last 3 of my friends lost their V-Cards at 23. According to pretty much everybody I’ve met since, we as a group of friends were a bit of an anomaly though.

I’m also an Encore bride but even before that I wasn’t and before I met Fiance I went thru a very “rebellious” stage as well. lol

I was up until. . .7 months ago. (I was 24 at the time. . .the oldest virgin I knew.) The only guy I’ve been with, though, is my fiance. I’m actually really happy about that. He, however, was not. (I mean. . .he’s got 2 kids and a fairly crazy past. . . )

I know a handful. They all have their own reasons for waiting. I respect the choice, since they respect mine to not wait.
