I found my dress at Alfred Angelo near Baltimore, MD, but I know there is an Alfred Angelo Store in Richmond. Here’s the address:

11341 West Broad Street
Glen Allen, VA 23060

Good luck!

i personally ended up going to NYC but i went to Hitched in DC to get bridesmaids dresses and was very impressed with their bridal collection as well. if i didn’t already have a dress by then, i definitely would have gotten it from there. and they were so nice and accomodating. there is also a priscilla of boston in vienna and carine’s in DC is also supposed to be really good.

I got my dress from Celebration Bridal in Lynchburg, VA.  I live in Richmond, but I made a special trip to Celebration to get my dress. 🙂

Hey I’m a peninsula area bride. I bought my dress at Blush Bridal Consignment Boutique in Newport News Port Warwick area. It’s a Maggie Sotterro and it was only 500. I would definitely check them out. I believe there’s a consignment shop in norfolk as well, but I can’t vouch for it as I’ve never been there.

Jingles in Richmond — for everything! The customer service is OUTSTANDING!!! I got my dress and my bridesmaids’ dresses there!

Also, I have a friend who opened up a bridesmaid boutique on Grove Ave called Bella Bridesmaid. Might want to check them out for some bridesmaid options!

Bridal Elegance in Short Pump

The nicest people EVER and lots of great styles in a variety of price ranges. I went there just twice. The first time I did not have an appointment – not a problem. The second time I went in was decision time and they brought the top two dresses I selected plus a few new ones that had come in since that were similar and I LOVED one of the new ones.

Besides the people I love the fact that the place is decorated with photos and thank yous from all their previous happy customers.

Also it a family run place – not a big box store.
