I’m not in Virginia… but wouldn’t that essentially ban birth control? Than people are going to have tons of kids!

@GroovyHippieChick:  Some forms of BC, even some pills, either directly make implantation impossible or make is more difficult for a fertilized egg, and if you say that a human life with full rights of personhood begins the moment that sperm breaks into the egg, then you are an accessory to murder if your BC made your uterus inhospitable to the implantation of that egg.

how sad 🙁 how about if you dont agree with BC you dont have to take it or use it. Why do people want to try and controle everybody elses life?? get over yourself, It doesnt hurt you!

If this does happen I am so freezing like 10 embryos so I can collect all 10 as my dependents! and they would be dependents forever, they would never age out!!!

That’s seriously depressing and scary. I hope for all of those who live in VA that this doesn’t pass.

I know a physician who subscribes to this idea that BCP is a form of abortion and that we should just allow God to determine how many children we have. I can’t take her seriously as a doctor.

Can I just say that this is total bullshit, and the fact that anyone wants to be able to tell me what to do with my body just boils my blood! I really cannot understand how the government can think it has a right to tell me that I can’t make my own life choices on whether to have children or not

Its really scary how ignorant, slefish and stupid people are, especially those passing laws, …..wow! How Sad!

If you dont belive its ok, then you dont do it. Dont force what you belive onto me, same goes for religion and everything else, it should be ok for people to have their own opinions! Im definitly not moving to Oklahoma!

@Future Mrs K:  There is similar legislation in some states (Not sure about VA) where you would have to prove if you had a miscarriage that you in no way contributed to it through negligence or carelessness. Who gets to draw those lines, you ask? Well, so have voters, and instead of getting answers, they’ve gotten back “assurances” that the courts would be reasonable.
