(Closed) Virtual hug please, I feel scared….posted 4 years ago in TTC

Thank you for your prayers and positive thoughts.
I saw my oncologist this afternoon after initially seeing her in August.
The MRI showed my uterus and left ovary are normal, but my right fallopian tube is dialated, swollen up and filled with fluid.
They want to repeat the MRI in mid November for any changes, follow up with her again, and then go back to the fertility clinic to see what can be done in the midst of a large fallopian tube. No surgery is needed (for now) and she talked about IVF being a possibility, etc. If it came down to surgery, the entire tube would need to be removed because of the size.
They think that this is a result of abdominal surgery as a premature baby and again at age 11, that they may have inadvertently contributed to a blockage.
I am grateful for such a good appt. I am now deciding where I want to have the MRI as I am quite claustrophobic and I may come into the States for an open concept MRI. It is more convenient if I have it here though as they can compare the images. Have to work myself up to it.
Thank you so much for your kind thoughts. Pretty soon I can pursue my treatment. 🙂
