I’m trying to get an idea of what to do for my STD’s! I have a groupon for Vista print for $85 dollars I think. I’m wanting to upload my own design and I was thinking about doing magnets we’re going to need about 100. I was hoping to see everyone’s Vista print STD’s especially the ones where people uploaded their own designs with the info size & apx price so I have an idea!! Thanks So much

we just did postcards, to save on costs and will use our groupon for the invites. I used a template out there from one of the free sites (you can look at weddingchicks and a few others out there for more ideas). we used one with the damask and just put in our own text and it turn out really well, but sounds like you’re going for something a little different w/the magnets. there is a pretty lengthy how to vistaprint w/examples on wedding channel (I think her name is Hallie not sure of the spelling). I bet some other bees here will post some good ideas for you though 🙂
a friend did one w/ a pic in the background of the mtn where they are getting maried and their info in text across it, kind of neat.

I don’t have pictures of our magnet STD’s that we got from Vistaprint on this computer, but they came out amazing for the price! I was very happy with them. I had one of the groupon deals as well, and I also got “notecards” to put behind the magnets in each envelope so that they didn’t stick to anything while being mailed, and it still didn’t cost more than my groupon deal (I ordered 50). I think that they were affordable even after looking around at different options.

We did ours through Vistaprint with a Groupon. With shipping, we ended up with 80 for about $30.

You can see the back of them in the bottom right. 🙂

We did out STD’s with a groupon and I think we paid 10.00 in shipping? We did post cards and they turned out great! We uploaded the design and did the glossy finish. We got a lot of compliments on them and they did a great job with printing and they got here very quicly. Use it and have fun with it!!! I also used vistaprint to do our invitations.

I used Vistaprint and uploaded my own design for the magnet business cards. I ordered 100 of them and put them in with our Christmas cards this week. I loved how they turned out! This was my design:

I had a Groupon that was $17 for $70 worth of printing, so I just ended up paying the $17 and paying for shipping (along with some extra stuff in my order).

I also got the $17 for $70 vistaprint groupon and ended up spending another $28 after the groupon, which was enough to qualify for free shipping. Our order broke down like so:
100 STD large magnets
10 thank you cards + 100 envelopes (how I figured to get envelopes for the magnets)
140 return address labels
All that for less than $50!

Here are mine, they are oversized postcards. I did the design and uploaded it.
I also used a $17 for $70 Groupon and got 250 of these (way more than I needed but the quantities were either 100 or 250 IIRC) for the $17 plus another $25, for a total of $42. I got the upgraded stock since I was sending them as a postcard. If I had it to do over again, I would have sent them in envelopes because I think they would have gotten more attention in the mail – I think these got mixed in with junk mail easily.
Postage is the real killer. Especially on something heavy like magnets, definitely take that into account.

I ordered the postcards with the extra thick paper, and then the magnets. They had a special going for free magnets and with three day shipping I think I paid $65 for 50 cards and 100 magnets.

I don’t have a picture but we used vistaprint magnets. I used some online coupon codes and I think we paid about $80 for 150 magnets.
We got the ‘large magnet’ size which was about a 4×6. I designed them in photoshop and uploaded it to vistaprint and I think the colors were fairly true, photo looked nice etc. They were a tiny bit more flimsy than other STD magnets I’ve seen but still nice and we got a lot of compliments on them.
PS if you go through ebates.com you get an extra 5% cash back and I think you can still find the 50% off coupon code there too. If you don’t have an ebates account yet, you can use my referral code and I get an extra $5 🙂

@Orchd12: Sorry so late, I haven’t been around my computer to be able to upload a pic! Here’s the magnet in real life:

It’s just a standard business card size. And just so you know, it only took 1 normal stamp per envelope to send my Christmas cards with an enclosed magnet in each one.
