bonbonsparklesMD: that’s exactly what I did. We are very pleased with quality of both and it makes our invite stand apart from the inserts. I am usually an “all the same or all different” kind of person, so I was surprised I liked the look so much. You can tell they are different; the linen is textured. But I think they look great together!

I found the post helpful…. how to choose the best wedding stationery paper. It is all around using Vista prints services.

- Wedding: November 2016 - Muhlhauser Barn
I wanted nice wedding invitations without paying a ridiculous amount. Watch Groupon for their $27 for $70 worth dealfor Vistaprint. I bought that deal and got the flat matte (basic/included). I purchased about 80 of the invitations– double sided with a rsvp to our wedding website on the back so I didn’t have to buy rsvp cards. Some people may think this is kinda cheap idea but In My Humble Opinion I didn’t want to spend a ton on something ppl will just throw away eventually anyways or have to buy RSVP cards and stamps and evelopes anyway. Plus its a fun way to show people your wedding website. Ignore the band across the middle of them. I haven’t taken them out of the packaging all the way yet…
Our wedding is sort of a Literature themed wedding so thats why it looks sort of like the LOTR style invitation 🙂 We are nerdy-chic in this wedding, haha. The invitations are pictured below and they are surprisingly way thicker than regular paper but not as thick as cardboard, if that makes sense? I am so happy about them!
