Has anyone done envelope liners on the Vistaprint envelopes?
I know they offer either a blank security liner or you can customize it with your names or something, but its grey and UGGGGLY.
I’m not going to have an inner/outer envelope. But I really do like the matching set that Vistaprint offers, I really like the look of a matching envelope (especially since my Save-The-Date Cards would match too…)
I’m just confused on how I could do liners with those envelopes because they aren’t the pointed flap, and because they already have the “security liner” in it.
Any experiences or tips – much appreciated!

I did not want the ugly “Vistaprint” inside the envelopes so I paid extra to make it go away. On 50 of mine I paid extra to just have it BLANK, and then on 50 I paid extra to have the word “LOVE” repeated a million times to be a ‘security liner.’
I gotta say that I think the envelopes are still really cheap looking and tacky. I already had them addressed with calligraphy….. the paper is so cheap that it doesn’t really absorb ink. They’ve been done for 3 days and they still smear when I touch them.
The “LOVE” security liner is not cute, but it would be even way more hideous with Vistaprint. So I guess it was worth it. I’m just not sure if I’m going to use their envelopes… even though that was the most expensive part of my order with them. They have the look feel and quality of those little envelopes that come with Valentines cards for 2nd graders that you leave on each other’s desks when you’re 8.

I haven’t done envelopes through Vistaprint, so I can’t really answer your question. However, I did use paperandmore.com for my STD envelopes and I loved them. I bought the solid blue cobalt envelopes and wrote on them calligraphy-style with a metallic silver paint marker. They dried within seconds and the silver showed up really nicely on the blue. There were no markings on the inside of the envelopes, so I didn’t do liners.
