We went through a lady (friend of ours, but she owns a company for this) who designs them herself, but prints them with vistaprint (helps keep her prices lower).  We loved ours.  Here are our Save the dates:

Have a tip for vistaprint. Sign up for the email updates, but not the wedding emails. The business emails sent you all kinds of free deals that the wedding one will not. The wedding emails are three times more expensive. If you want the wedding samples send for them under a different email. Everything that I have gotten so far from the was free just paid shipping (and I have gotten a ton). Even my invites I got for 90% off. I will put that link up when I get home from work for anyone who wants it.

@Kim2011: I think they were around $50 for 100 and 150 address labels.

I have used them for party invites, return labels, business cards, magnets and note pads. I love them and have never been disapointed with their work. I am using Mixbook.com for your invites, just because I like their options more.

I have a question for those who ordered from Vistaprint, specifically items with photos on them.  How is the pixel quality?

I have ordered the postcards and magnets for work-related needs before but we don’t put photos on them, they are just for holiday greetings.  So I am really curious how they turn out.  We are thinking of doing the 100 free postcards for our save-the-dates.  Judging from the items we order, the quality is fine with me.  However, FH is so picky about things not looking cheap!  Does anyone have maybe a photo of their postcard that they can post instead of the PDF proof?  Thanks!!

for those of you who have done STDs through vistaprint… did you do folded cards, postcards, or magnets?

How much does it cost to mail a magnet?  I’m looking to keep the STDs as inexpensive as humanly possible, so any pricing input would be great!

We just got ours in the mail. We got 100 large magnet save the dates for about $60 including shipping. They are pretty good. I did notice that the color on the picture is a little off (my neck looks a little green) but it’s not something I noticed at first and I’m sure no one else will notice unless they really look. The quality is fine other than that.

I’m happy with them. My plan right now is to do the matching invitations etc. when I get closer to time, as long as I can get a good enough deal. I’m a bit OCD and I want to have things match.

I’ve attached the proof. I like the floral design and am thinking about tying that into table numbers, maybe find old turn of the century postcards or something since the design reminds me of that. I look at them and I just think of the original Oz book illustrations (and I’m not going to do an Oz theme, but I love the romantic feel of the art from that period.

I also noticed that Kinko’s had the same designs as Vistaprint, including mine… does anyone know how they compare in terms of cost/quality?

I am definitely on a budget-

Well, mine is Not Wedding Related, but today I ordered 100 Christmas card postcards, 10 christmas cards, 140 return address labels, and a 2011 calender, all for only $10.28!  I’m excited, I love free stuff. ๐Ÿ™‚
