Has anyone used Vistaprint to order their postcards? Or anything else, really. I’m trying to find somewhere to print our save the date postcard at a decent price. Somebody told me they’d do it for about $140, but I don’t really know how much printing usually costs. We need about 150. Any advice bees?

I JUST ordered oversized postcards with them..and got a super sweet deal-you just have to google deals “vistaprint postcard promo codes” etc.
I mean, I ordered 100 for 30 bucks. I am having a postcards from Paris themed wedding and going to Paris for the honeymoon (come hell or highwater it looks like, according to FI) so making a postcard progrm fit perfectly.
I will upload in a jiffy!

Vistaprint is extremely cheap for postcards- you definitely won’t spend $140 for 150 cards. I went with Catprint because the print quality was better and they had more paper options, but Vistaprint is a good option too.

we used visaprint for our save the date postcards! they were fantastic, i couldn’t have asked for anything better for the price. they have deals/coupons all the time. we ended up paying 37 dollars and change for 125 customized postcards. their editing functions take a bit of getting used to, but in the end it’s pretty simple.
the only thing you might want to know, is that our postcards came with a teeny tiny http://www.vistaprint.com printed at the bottom corner of the sending end of the card. it was barely noticable.
we got a lot of compliments! plus, they’ll send you additional coupons with your order if you’re looking for invites or other paper products.
i agree with the pp who mentioned getting regular shipping. ours came in about a week.
best of luck!

if you’ just google bulk postcards, you’ll get a ton of websites that will do it for very litle costs. I believe I was quote $50 for 200?

I used Vistaprint for our invites/thank you notes/other stuff, but I didn’t like their postcard options. I was so confused trying to upload my own photo and it just looked janky.
So for our postcard Save-The-Date Cards, I used Snapfish, and I LOVE how they turned out. We ordered 115 and got them for $64 (that was with a 30% off coupon and free shipping). I know it probably would have been cheaper to use Vista, but their editing functions were just getting on my nerves, so I decided to pay a bit more to make it easier to create the postcards 🙂

I became a bit of a VistaPrint freak for the wedding!! I love them! They really are great and if you work it right, you can save a tonne of money. Once you buy something and they have your email they will email you lots, but that also means lots of deals specific to the email. I designed my Save-the-Date and then saw I could get postcards at a much better price so I asked them to make my design available to be on postcard. They did this no problem. I ordered 100 for $5.99 I also ordered save the date matching address labels 280 for $3.74. I could go on ….. no complaints!

We actually skipped save the dates because we set our wedding date three months after our engagement date (what can I say, I’m impatient!).
But I got our invitations from 123Print.com and I’m really happy with them. Especially if all you’re looking for at this point is a post card it might be worth it. If I remember right, they were also better priced than VistaPrint.

Ours were “free” from vistaprint but with shipping and the fee for uploading our own design it came to about $20 for 100 post cards. (2 sided)

We used Vistaprint and got 100 postcards with our engagement pic on the front for $14, they were having a special at the time.

Thanks everybody! It sounds like vistaprint is a pretty safe bet! The pictures y’all posted look really good too. I appreciate all the feedback! I just thought 140 was kind of high so I wanted to look into some other options. If there’s a better deal out there, I want to find it! 🙂

I got our postcard invites and thank you cards from Vistaprint, but with groupons. So I spent $17 for $70 worth of products (which ended up being way more than we needed, but since you have to use it all at once I just threw in some extras). That way we were able to get the matte paper (which I really recommend, and color on both sides cheaply. Good luck!
A bad cell pic of our invites:
And of the Thank yous
The colors are perfect in person and the paper quality is great.

I used VitaPrint for the SAveTheDate ($6 for 100) and for my Thank You card ($10 for 100), as well as other various items … SaveTheDate matching address labels, custom pens, tshirt, hat, Ceremony/Reception directional poster, … etc.VistaPrint is fantastic with great customer service.
Save the Date (but obviously sent without our names and the website marked out!)
Thank You Card
