Hey bees –
Has anyone ordered wedding invitations from vistaprint.com? I just ordered my std’s (haha) magnets and was really happy with the ease of their site and the way you could work with images, fonts, ect to personalize. I don’t want to spend a gazillion dollars on invites and am really tossing the idea around if I am happy with the magnets.
Just wondering if the invites may be the way to go since the std’s were so reasonably priced. 50 std = $24.99!

I wish i’d heard about vista before I did my invites. I don’t know about the prices therefore. But SIL used them for her invites and they’re really good.

I ordered both my STD and invites from Vistaprint and was very satisfied. The quality on both were very good. My only complaint was that I was not too thrilled the quality and choices for their envelopes. If I had a chance to do it again I would probably order envelopes from someplace else. Good luck!

I got an offer for 100 free postcards in my inbox the other day, so I decided to take advantage of that and make up my rehearsal invites using the postcards. They should be in this weekend and I’m hoping they’re nice quality since I only had to pay $6 in shipping for them! (And they threw in a free return address stamp.) But if they’re not great quality, I figure I’m only out $6 and and can keep looking.

I use Visaprint for everything (although I didn’t use them for my invitations b/c I found others I liked better). I have since ordered postcards, rehearsal dinner invites, place cards, t-shirts, notepads, pens – pretty much anything and everything. I love the quality of their products. I always choose the slowest shipping method to get the cheapest shipping price so sometimes it can take 3-4 weeks to arrive – but I’ve never been disappointed.

I haven’t ordered anything for the wedding yet but my Dad ordered business cards from Vistaprint. The quality is great and he was beyond satisfied with them.

I love Vistaprint! We ordered our invitations and RSVP cards from them and they are wonderful, and an awesome deal. My only “regret” is that I should have gone with matte instead of the glossy invitations (but the glossy are still quite nice, and I’ve since pasted them on top of some black matte cardstock to spruce them up a bit). I would 100% recommend them!
Plus, I now get e-mails from them all the time with free offers. I just recently got a personalized pen, notebook, mug, canvas bag, keychain, and t-shirt for just about 6 bucks shipping. Awesome!

I ordered the wedding sample pack, that might be a good idea if you want to see the quality! I think we are going to use them for STD postcards, address labels, and some other things. Like PPs have said, they offer TONS of free items, so if you strategize right you can get some great deals. The quality seemed overall good for the price, so some of the items were scored incorrectly. I’ve heard they’re very good about reprinting if you’re not happy, though!
I also ordered some samples from 123print and I liked their invitations better, so we will probably order our actual invites from there.

I’m in the process of designing my std’s (using magnets as well) on vistaprint… do you have yours already? If so, could you post pictures?
I ordered engagement invites from there and was really happy with how they turned out… so I think the quality is quite good despite the price!!! 🙂

I got free return labels with them, thanks to a coupon I received. The labels were very nice and I was happy with the quality. You can order a sample to be sure you like it.

I am super excited to receive them now that I read all these posts! I chose the “slow” shipping hoping they will get here sooner than later. Here is a pic. of the std we ordered. We wanted to keep it simple and clean looking.

By The Way, these are magnets, not postcards.

I used Vista print for my invites (and other things for the wedding) and i am super happy with how they turned out. I just sent out my invites last week and we are getting tonnes of compliments.
I actually ended up glueing the invite to a piece of cardstock to make it a bit heavier, but that wasn’t absolutely necessary. The invites come with free envelopes, they are thin and basic, but really, nobody but you will notice the envelopes. Think back and see if you can remember the invites (let alone the envelopes) that you have received for past weddings.
Overall I am very happy with vista print and my invites 🙂

Thanks for posting! They’re really nice!! I love the picture you chose (I assume that’s you and FI)
yeah slow shipping is best.. it’s cheapest and honestly.. my previous orders arrived within 2-3 days (I’m in TO and I believe they ship to Canada out of Windsor)!
I’m sure you’ll love them.. but keep us posted!

Its great quality I suggest paying extra for the better paper. The standard is ok but looks and feels a bit cheap. I liked the linen finish.
