I take several vitamins/supplaments a day (and am still vitamin D deficient, go figure). One thing that’s good to understand about vitamins, is just because something has 100% of your daily reccommended amount, doesn’t mean your body actually absorbs that amount (which is why for some nutrients have 150 or 200% of your daily reccommended dosages) Also, always take your vitamin with food and plenty of water as some nutrients are fat soluable and others are water soluable.

To answer your original question my current multivitamin is the gerneric Kroger vitamin “for women” (fyi vitamins “for women” mean they have folic acid in them. Possibly more calcium. Practically nothing else.). It works for me because I also take other supplaments.

I take Centrum Forte. My doctor recommended it to me years ago, and it’s a well trusted brand.

Check out “New Chapter” vitamins. I’ve been using their prenatal vitamin for a couple years now (pre-TCC, TTC, pregnancy, and breastfeeding). My husband takes their men’s vitamin. They make organic food-based vitamins.

You can get a one-a-day vitamin from them, or a vitamin with the dose split into 2-3 pills which is easier on the stomach for some people. And these are incredibly easy on the stomach to begin with, regardless if you chose the once a day dose or the 2-3 times a day dose.

(Note: The cheapest I’ve found them is Amazon.)
