Thanks!  I’ll be there.

I’m a little concerned, I hope it goes well.  It’s unbelievable that we even have this going on!  My son pointed out to me yesterday (he’s a college student who’s best friend is gay), “Mom, everyone has equal rights in our country and our state.  Unless you’re gay.”  He and all of his friends will be voting, too.  We have to defeat this, it’s so wrong.

Thanks for posting this to remind everyone to get out and vote! My husband and I just got back from voting during our lunch break.

Fingers crossed the amendment gets defeated!

@totheislnds:  I was shocked to hear that it did.

I knew it would, the main people who support homosexuality weren’t actually voting. The older generation who hates everything to do with it are frequent voters and vote for everything so of course they voted for it.

It kind of groses me out that I can marry my first cousin, but not another woman. That makes us look really good lol

I’m just glad i’m in one of those counties that voted against. It makes me sick.

@Kkaattii:  I’ve always said our generation will bring change. Baby boomers have got to get out of the way and give us our chance though…

@Kkaattii:  I’m pretty mad that this went on the ballot during a primary where the presidential contest is Republican. Even though that’s basically settled, I’m sure the party percentages were skewed that way.
