Fiance and I can’t decide! We were blessed/cursed with a ton of e-pics that we love, so we finally narrowed it down to these two pictures.
Anyway, our wedding “theme” is updated classic. Think Kate Spade-esque. Colors are black/white/emerald. We don’t care a ton if the STD matches the theme/our invites, but we want there to be a similar feel, if that makes sense.
Our STD will be a postcard, so any info that isn’t on the front (website, etc) will be on the back.
So, out of these four, what’s your favorite? Or do you have any suggestions? (oh, and these are low res uploads, so they’ll look a lot more crisp IRL)

I vote for #3 – I think its the prettiest fonts and the easiest to read with the background image – plus its nice and colorful and you guys look sweet 🙂

I like #3 as well. I like the font and picture better.

I don’t really like how the text is laid out on any of them.
1: too many fonts and the uneven spacing between lines is distracting
2: would look better if text was on the right, over the green
3: same as 1, but the photo isn’t placed well for the centered allignment
4: white text doesn’t read well, and I don’t care for the AND turned sideways
Your pictures are very sweet though!

#1 and #4 are my favorites.
I also could not decide which of my STD designs I liked to most. So we ended up ordering 4 different ones. That was my solution 🙂 I did the same thing with Thank you cards. We got them from Vistaprint so it did not cost too much to get different designs.

@StL.Ashley: I think the varying fonts and spacing adds interest, I had like 4 different fonts on my wedding invites! I like #1 the best!

I like #4 but with the text in black so you can read it better. The pic is more fun than the other one 🙂

I prefer the text layout in the first one; it’s the most “kate spade” ish IMO. However, I don’t love either of the pics. They’re not very “lovey.” You look like you’re pulling away in the first one and have kind of a haughty hand on the hip in the second. Maybe not the cutest message to send to guests regarding your engagement/upcoming wedding?

oooh one or three! I like that font better and i’s easier to read can;t decide on which pic though

I like 3. I think 1 + 4 are a little corny… Not to be mean.. I think they are funny and great, but for a STD, I would opt for a more “serious” photo

I love 3- I think it’s a great photo and I like the text better on that one!

I voted for #1. The picture of you in 1 & 4 is much more flattering if that makes a difference. Pictures taken from below you don’t ever do anyone any favors!

Thanks everyone so much for your opinions/thoughts. I showed them to Fiance, and after he was done going “STOP MAKING NEW DESIGNS AND JUST PICK ONE” 🙂 he told me he prefered option one because it’s more “us”, which is true. We’re really not a lovey/cuddly/PDA type of couple – honestly, we have some great cuddly/kissy pictures, but neither of us are comfortable having that one people’s fridges.
SO! All that being said I worked on some things/changes based on feedback. I really appreciate everyone’s comments. I’m not a designer (at ALL!) and I don’t claim to be, so some things just aren’t apparent to me and would probably make my graphic designing friends cringe.
So I centered stuff up (I tried to photoshop the verticle seam in the wall out, but with the shadow behind Fiance it just wasn’t looking right), limited myself to two fonts, changed the font color to a grey so it’s less harsh than the black, and I threw together a back design with a cuddly/kissy picture (you can’t tell in this low-res JPEG, but the focus is on the ring so we’re out of focus). I totally ripped the back design off of minted, so if it looks familar, that’s why.
Thoughts on the new and improved update?
