Wanted to get some advice on my situation. I bought my wedding dress way under budget and while I was out looking for a veil and some accesories, I found a reception dress off that rack that was under budget. I had never intended on getting a reception dress but it was fun and the price was right.
I’m undecided whether or not I want to wear the reception dress. I like my dress just fine and I actually intend on changing into cultural attire toward the end of my reception, but the dress is fun and cute. Wearing it however, would be three (!?!) changes.
So, I’d love your advice. What should I do?
(Sorry for the large pic — I wish I knew how to make it smaller)
Here’s my dress:
Here’s my potential reception dress (taken on my phone — sorry about the quality)
Thanks for your help!!

Oh, I think it would be the perfect rehersal dinner dress.

I don’t think you need the reception dress, but I agree with the PP that it would make a fabulous rehearsal dinner dress! 🙂

how about wearing it as your exit gown?

I agree with Aure… wear it to the rehearsal and save the big wedding dress for the majority of the reception. You could even dye the shorter dress and wear it to parties and weddings in the future! They both look great on you, but I say stick with one clothing change.

That is beautiful. I would use it as a rehearsal dress as others have said.

I’d wear it for the rehearsal dinner or a bridal shower or something instead.

Thanks all. Seems pretty clear that I should wear it for the rehearsal dinner. I appreciate the advice 🙂
