i think thats a really cute idea to have both of them walk you down.

Me and my husband are doing something similar since he is in the service and we didnt really have a wedding we are havign a formal religious wedding for our 3year aniversary.

@themrsfox:  I think it would be sweet either way-walking with your SS or the three of you walking together. 🙂

I think your idea is wonderful but I also believe that you can do whatever you want for your renewal.  It’s your wedding day/renewal and if you want someone to walk you down the aisle why the heck not!  You deserve it all for what you’ve been through so go for it….

@themrsfox:  we had no celebration what so ever as in we got married no one really realized it till i moved to fl with him. Because of that we are treating this as our wedding and so is my family some of his familly see it as just a vow renewal which is ok as long as they are there to support us i dont really mind what they label it.

I think it would be super cute to have both of your kids walk you down the isle to meet your hubby! And I think a vow renewal is really special and romantic, with the added bonus of being able to include all of your friends and family this time around. Go for it!

We are having a vow renewal. This is second marriage for both of us. Ours is a private DW in Jamaica. We are 56 and 60!

My biggest issue has been my dress. I ordered a long chiffon bridesmaid dress in ivory from Outerinner. Felt just not me. Found a beautiful cowl neck from JC Penney with beading and smattering of sequins. They have beautiful dresses, online ordering only. That’s still a contender but I don’t love it. My flowers are tropical with coral color and my jewelry is pearl cluster necklace, earrings and bracelet. I saw on the boards the convertible/infinity dress from Etsy. It seems to be me, flowy, versatile, not too foofy. After some thought I decided to go with a beautiful coral color rather than ivory. It will be a dress I can wear again on honeymoon and I LOVE the color.

So that is just another idea for a dress to consider.

@themrsfox:  We are renewing our vows in September 27, 2013. I feel that you should do what you want, how you want to do it. Forget the ettique and make yourselves happy! We didn’t get the chance to have the wedding we wanted so we are doing it again. Our money=Our rules. Good luck!
