The sleeves I want: This is my wedding dress: Ok so I have always wanted a wedding dress with this kind of sleeve but the dresses I’ve seen with sleeves like this are not my style! I bought my dress already and I love it!! But I just wish it had sleeves do you think alterations can do this?? ***Note! I will be removing the bow!! Also do you think I could get them to make the sleeves with the same lace as the dress??

@Noelliemar: To me, lace sleeves don’t go with that dress at all. And with that type of bottom, it would be too much if you did add sleeves. I like the dress the way it is.

Yeah.. too much. That picture has a calmer skirt and an all lace bodice. On yours I think it may actually make you look less flattering and would not go well with the dress as is. It would take reworking of the bodice and skirt for me to think it was a good idea.

I think with the lace it will look like 2 difference dresses chopped and stitched together.
What if you got a short dress with lace sleeves for your rehearsal dinner or reception or something?

You could always look at it with the off-shoulder jacket for the “Symphony” by Maggie Sottero…it’s a great piece to add with almost ANY style!

I think if you wants to do sleeves i’d do something in sheer fabric. The lce just doesn’t really flow with the rest of the dress. Something like hte dress on the left.
