I posted a few days ago about not being able to find an affordable wedding ring to match my uniquely-stoned sapphire e-ring. Then I found THIS:
It’s a half carat, H, SI1 in 14KWG. Not at all what I ever thought I would choose, but I love the way it looks with the ering, I love the way it looks by itself, and I love that we got it for 70% off of the original price (clearance + store sale + extra 15% off = way under budget)! I’ve tried dozens of styles over the last few weeks, weeded out the ones that definitely didn’t work, and once I knew I was looking for a medium width band, this baby was sitting there just waiting for me.
Can I get a YAHOOOOOOO!!!!

I wouldn’t have guessed that they weren’t made to go together.

@MapleMoose: me too. They were destined to be mates.
I do have a concern though. The certification card that it came with shows a picture that is NOT this ring. The details that the sales person gave me when we were buying it match the text details on the card. My SO thinks maybe the stones came from that original setting that’s in that picture. I haven’t been able to reach the sales person yet, but I’m not sure if this is something to be worried about?

YAY, I’m so happy you found something just right! It’s beautiful!
If you’re worried about the card, maybe get it appraised somewhere to make sure everything’s good?

@deetuned: I love them together. I wouldn’t worry about the picture not matching your ring, as long as all of the details match. Can you see where the stones would have come from in the picture? I can see them not bothering to change the picture if they decided to reset it, as long as all of the diamonds are the same.

Turns out the IGI report is based on the stones, not the setting. I am assured I have the right report!
Meanwhile…that ring is sitting in its box, in a drawer, for 5 and half months…GAH! I WANT TO WEAR IT NOW!
