I found a great deal on waffel robes for my bridesmaids ($5/robe). The only offer them in white and a teal blue. I know it sounds silly, but i want to be the only one in a white robe while getting ready, so i dont want to buy them white ones. Would it be weird to buy them in blue even though my wedding colours are champagne and gold?

I don’t think so. I think brides tend to get caught up in the color scheme and matching. I’d go with blue, it’s a pretty color 🙂 (and I don’t think it’s silly that you want to be the only one in white).

Nah, I don’t think so, especially since its something they will use after the wedding. Were you planning on getting them embroidered? You can get their initial embroidered in gold if you wanted to tie in your wedding colors.
ETA: Where is this great deal? 🙂

Or do you think i should buy them in white and dye them a more girly colour? Like a light pink or something?

@sweetpeony: Thanks! Honestly, I think the blue is fine. But, if you have the time and patience, go ahead and dye them, if that would make you feel more comfortable about your purchase. Do you think that they will dye ok though, since they are waffled? I have no expenience with dying clothes.

I think blue is fine, it doesn’t need to be all matchy matchy and plus it’s not like mosto f your guest are going to see them. If you have experience and the time. I am getting a polka dot robes for my cousins wedding, she picked out a different one based on what colors her bridesmaid like.
