I wore a waist cincher with spanks over them (to make sure it looked smooth and to keep the cincher from shifting or rolling down when I moved).  It worked really well, sucked in my belly roll and was comfortable all day long- all the dancing, in and out of the car, etc.

What I did to make sure I would be comfortable was to try stuff out by wearing it to other weddings and functions I was attending- that’s how I realized I needed the Spanx to keep the cincher from rolling down.

The site that I used was http://www.herroom.com.  They have a huge selection and LOTS of reviews (they have a staff member review each product and then have a bunch of user reviews as well).  They have free shipping on orders over a certain amount and returns were easy.

I ordered a bunch of different ones in different sizes and then returned the ones I didn’t want.

JC Penny and Kohls both have waist cinchers (or atleast they do by me) if you do not have time to have them shipped or if you are like me and prefer to see things in person.
