Can someone explain something to me? I’ve been looking at how much weight I want to lose, and it’s not so much the number on the scale I’m concerned with, I want to be a smaller clothing size and be able to walk into a store and not worry whether their XL will be large enough.
So anyways, I was taking my measuremenus tonight to see what might goal measurements might be. My waist (I’m embarrassed to admit) is 40″. Yet all of my jeans are size 16, from Old Navy, and thire size chart for that size has a measurement of 34.5″. And I have 1 pair from the gap that I can just now fit back into, same size, but their chart says 33.5 for the waist.
So does anyone have any idea how size vs measurements work? Am I just weird? I just dont get how i fit intomsomething thats supposedly 6″ smaller than my waist. And theyre not super low rise, not tight (actually are loose), and they’re not stretched out. Anyone else run into this?
