Has anyone had experience with a waistnipper? I have a very boyish figure, so while my dress fits me perfectly in the bust and hips, it’s snug in the waist. I’ve tried some longline bras in hopes that they’d suck the ol’ sides in a bit, but because my hips sit very high, the boning pokes into my hip bones and they end up being incredibly uncomfortable. I thought a waistnipper might work better because they begin over the hips. Has anyone used one before with success? I’m slim-figured, but just hate how square my waist is 🙁 I appreciate any input or brand recommendations. Or is it just a big waste of money?

Can you just wear a strapless bra and forget the whole corset/waistnipper thing? If it’s poking you in the hip, it will be so uncomfy during the wedding and you’ll be bruised and burned. I am short waisted so I didn’t wear a corset either. And you’re right, it’s a lot of money

I would suggest that you check out Flattering Me longline bras. They come in petite sizes, for people who have your (my) exact problems. I have crazy monkey appendages (really long arms, legs, etc.), but a very short torso. I was actually going to order one yesterday from the place I’m ordering my crinoline, but am making myself wait until my tax refund comes in. Stupid IRS. *sigh*
