Just ordered my ring yesterday! But I won’t get to see the actual ring until sometime this summer. My boyfriend wants to suprise me with his proposal.

We got this setting with a .36 ct princess cut diamond.

This or a variation of this will be mine. as you see it right now is the original setting. The ring belonged to my nana and was gifted to me when she passed. We’re undecided if we are going to just lower the setting or transplant the centre stone entirely. It’s a 1 carat centre with two .25 marquis side stones. I have not seen that combo in a modern setting. I love it and feel honoured to have received it. Can’t wait to wear it everyday.

missjz: Aw, it is so touching to know the value and meaning you have associated with your ring. I think it’s beautiful ring, I would lower the setting and keep all else as is.

soon2bhitched:  Thank you. It’s very exciting for me! Whatever he chooses to do with it, I’m sure I will love.

Mine was ordered 2 weeks ago; they said it would be 2-3 weeks for production. I can’t wait! I haven’t seen mine in person and wont until he slips it on my finger soon after it arrives.

double halo and diamonds through out the band with a cushion cut intense yellow (carnay diamond) as the mainstone. I believe he is aiming for a 2 carat yellow diamond but realistically he will probably end up at 1-1.50.

I picked mine out, but we are going to have to get it made. We are incorporating diamonds from our mom’s engagement rings since they have both passed away. I’m hoping he gets it in a couple of weeks while I’m studying abroad!!
