LOVE it! I totally plan on telling my BF a version of this tomorrow when we have our big “Where is our relationship going?” talk…

Ha! I love this. If I wasn’t trying to lay off the pressure, I’d definitely tell my bf this story! Lol

Good on you!! Waiting is most deffinately in perspective here!! I hope you so show this to your SO. Isn’t he lucky to be with such a clever lady ;p

May have to show this to my SO if my suspected proposal date passes.

You’ve seriously put waiting into words a man can understand!

When I tried to explain waiting to him previously, I told him to imagine he really really likes a girl and wants to have sex but when he brings it up with her she says no I’m not ready yet and every single time he asks about it she always says no I’m still not ready yet. Only in that situation instead of waiting frustration, it’s sexual frustration lol.

This is really good! I am going to read this to my SO the next time I get a chance.

But has anyone else actually read this perpective to their SO? Did they get how us waiting bees feel or were they still clueless?  I’m curious to see how other guys react to this scenario.

I’d be a little nervous about showing this to my SO– maybe when the engagement subject isn’t so new between us!!

This sure is a great simile to how we waiting bees feel, though.

This is great! Guys totally don’t see it our way. My now husband couldnt undertand why I was getting so annoyed with waiting because I knew it was coming!

Okay, so I read this a few months ago, but I remembered it, and just last night in one of our “discussions,” I decided to read this to my SO, and you know what he said… he said, “man, I’d just look for another job!” “ohhh is that so, SO? Is that what you would do???” lol. Maybe he can be a little more empathetic now. lol.
