My doctor says it is normal to take up to two weeks after you stop taking the pill to start your period.  I never get it before I finish the pills.  I usually get it 3-5 days after I have finished taking the pills.

Both times that I’ve taken provera my period started before I’d finished taking the pills, the first time on day eight and the second time on day five. I’be heard that’s pretty unusual though, and normally it takes a week or more after the last pill for your period to show up. I wouldn’t worry yet!!

I just finished 10 days of Provera last Monday and didn’t get AF until yesterday. My doc said anywhere from 2 days to two weeks is normal!

I’m not an expert but it might just take a little more time. However, the last time I took Provera, I had one day of spotting in the middle of the pills but I never got my period after that. About 12 days later I ovulated and got pregnant! I don’t think that’s typical at all but thought I’d mention it since that was my experience, just in case. Are you temping? That might help you figure out what’s going on.

Mine usually comes 3 days after Provera but when I called my clinic’s nurse one month she said if I don’t get it in 2 weeks, come in for bloodwork.

CanadianBride456:  What an awesome surprise! Congratulations!! And you’re right, bodies are weird haha. Technically I should not have been able to get pregnant when I did because it was such a wonky cycle, but everything worked out just fine. I hope the same for you!
