@TippyT:  Hi there!  I might be waiting for the Amora to be restocked. This is all new to me because my SO just recently asked me to show him some e-rings that I really like.  I’ve stumbled onto this board and moissanite.  Have you seen any moissanite in person in the Atlanta area? He’s very confused as to why I’m not looking at diamonds.  I need to show him in person and see for myself.

Ever since I’ve started searching for rings to show him, I’ve become very impatient and want it now!  So I’ve been considering the Forever Brilliant.

The Amoras have been out of stock for several several months now. The original estimated restocking date was last early fall, but it has been pushed further and further back. Unfortunately, we have no idea when they will restock, it could be several more months 🙁 Have you considered the Forever Brilliant moissy? I haven’t seen one in person but there are tons of bees on here that love them, and the pictures look just as white as the amoras!

I was waiting for the Amora restock, but then the exact ring I wanted (minus the enhancement) went on sale on MoissaniteCo. As long as its not too warm/green I might just wait for the Amora Gem to become available in a couple years.

@TippyT: I don’t know if you’ve noticed on the moissaniteco website or not, but they were doing exchanges on Forever Brilliants purchased in January and February once the Amoras were restocked. My SO and I actually purchased a FB e-ring on March 3, so I emailed Chris asking if the exchange deal still applied, and it does. You can always go that route if you all are ready to purchase now. And who knows…you might fall in love with your FB!

@TippyT: We ordered a Forever Brilliant eng143 in 14k white gold. I had it set in tulip set prongs because I thought the factory prongs might be too high (I’m a stickler for a good, low setting).  The pictures on moissyco’s website do NOT do it any justice, though. Another bee purchased the ring in rose gold and posted pictures and I fell in love.

According to BTD, the final fix for the new machines is about 4 weeks away.  We are hopeful that once this is done, we will not have any problems going forward.  We have about 500 stones, prescreened and waiting to be processed.  Hopefully it will be soon . .  .

Btd is the supplier if amora moissanite…so the women who buy directly from them would get amora moissanite first. im sure the waiting list could be longer. u could get a forever brilliant moissanite for now and then upgrade to amora when its available again. however i don’t like that the forever brilliant process burns the surface of moissanite.

Try the forever brilliant. We bought ours last month with the intention of trading it for the amora when it becomes available and I really don’t think we need to now that I’ve seen my stone. I fell in love with it as soon as I opened the box and it’s just perfect.

@sexymama118: “Btd is the supplier if amora moissanite…so the women who buy directly from them would get amora moissanite first.”  Although BTD is the company that does the enhancement, we supply the Moissanite.  We are splitting the stones 50/50.
