Ditto.  I bet it’s coming soon.

Who knows?  Maybe the ring wasn’t ready in time for the evening last night?

I totally understand where you’re coming from.  We had planned our super romantic trip to Jamaica in March and  the romantic trip turned into a perfectly craptastic vacation always told in its craptastic glory over on tripadvisor.

We now laugh about that now.

Anyway, I think it’s around the corner for you!  Really do!

@honeybear- it sounds like a totally dreamy night regardless! Maybe he’s psyching you out. I have a good friend who was planning to propose to his gf on their 5 year anniversary until he started feeling like she was expecting it. So he planned an awesome night out and…. did not propose. Then did it on a tuesday two weeks later. He said he just wanted her to be surprised. I say? MEAN boy. haha. Guys are weird… its coming I’m sure! And it sounds like he’ll make a superb husband!

Maybe he was planning on it but got really nervous.  I really expected my proposal on our romantic Hawaiian vacation.  I got it over pizza in my icky office on a Saturday night 2 weeks later.  I love my man!

Ugh bummer. No doubt in my mind he had it planned for last night and chickened out. No worries it’s coming soon maybe even tonight. Guys are so weird!

oh my gosh, what a let down!  i mean, obviously a WONDERFUL night, but it definitely seemed to be the plan!  I agree with mrsdg, sounds like he planned it and got too nervous!  i bet he’s kicking himself now.  sounds like a dreamy night, though!  i’m so bummed it didn’t happen for you, though 🙁

HoneyBear… my guy did this to me. He planned an amazing anniversary, he did a LOT for christmas, we had an amazing valentines day… and I waited 8 MONTHS!!!! I am so sorry because I truly know exactly what disappointment you’re feeling. You just want to cry and kinda scream b/c it’s frustrating!

Guys are so confusing (and mean when they don’t even think they’re being mean, seriously)!

Aww, I’m sorry! I’m sure it’s coming though!

My dad did the same thing to my mom, but he fake proposed amidst it all with a ring box… and a soda can top inside of it. He has a weird sense of humor. A week later he proposed in her parents’ driveway. :p

Maybe it was just a test run?

Oh honeybear…so sorry but it sounds like a great evening! I’ve have been waiting since last Christmas! He even told me he had something special to give me and wrapped my gift inside another box, then another..and so one..by the 4th box i was so nervous i couldnt breathe let alone open anymore..then i opened it and it was…a pearl necklace! It was still nice but i wanted something else:(

I believe it’s around the corner for you though!!!! and what a lucky girl you are!!

I’m so sorry, maybe he did get nervous and couldn’t quite get the words out.  Or maybe he thought you suspected something, so he didn’t do it because he’s trying to completely catch you off guard!  Either way, it sounded like he planned a beautiful night, so at least you had a good time.  I’m sure it will be happening soon and when you least expect it.

I bet that was all just a set up. My BF is a bench warmer when it comes to romance. I also have some mad ESP – he knows it. He also says “it will be a surprize!”, which I counter w/ “yeah, right!” I see one flower or he takes me somewhere special and I will know! So, I can see him doing this… a few times…

I’m sorry it wasn’t last night. I agree with PPs. If last night was an anniversary, just imagine the proposal!
