It’s hard not to get obsessive! Have you had any symptoms? And Unfortunately the want and stress of conceiving can put off AF! I would take one more test then assume it is correct and move on. (Planning for the worst and assume ugly AF is coming) If AF is still MIA in a few days then test again by then you will get an accurate result.

Ugh tell me about it. I am 7 days DPO and talking myself out of testing, promised myself I won’t do it until a missed period. I have no symptoms other than moodiness and back ache which is indication of AF coming. Fingers crossed for you!

I know it’s hard to wait… but enjoy your non-pregnant, baby-free life as long as it lasts! Sooner or later you won’t be able to eat whatever you want and, when you do have the baby, you’ll be able to sleep max two hours at a time because newbornw want to feed all the time! Whilst it’s amazing to have a baby, you’ll miss some aspects of baby-free life so now it’s a good time to enjoy them!

FRERs seem to be the most sensitive tests, I tried different tests and got the earliest BFP on a FRER at 9 dpo… didn’t even need to squint! It took longer to get a BFP on a cheapie.

whitepeony:  Wow that is a really good perspective! Personally, I don’t mind if it happens months from now, the only thing is the longer it takes the more I am afraid that there is a problem. I try to tell myself that the longer it takes the more money we will save.

I’m having such a hard time waiting also! I’m not 100% sure when to expect AF because this is my first cycle off BC, but I think I did ovulate based on my BBT chart… So if that’s right it’s been 2 weeks, and no AF! I did a few tests over the weekend, but so far all BFN… Just so hard to wait!!

Sorry to hear that! I know how disappointing it can be. I suggest the no talking about it route. First get clarification if now or 6 months from now is okay with him then you do all the work and don’t talk at all about ovulation or having to do BD for baby. Instead just get things started when time is right and keep it fun! He will then not feel pressure and “used” as some husbands eventually say. Keeps it some what natural and planned all at the same time lol

Good luck to everyone and hope you all have positive news (if you want it now!) 🙂

I’m a little different because I was much more impatient about getting engaged. Waiting for baby doesn’t bother me as much b/c I know the work that will be coming along with the obvious joys. 🙂

I think its smart to plan fun, romantic evenings around your fertile days – go out to dinner, have some wine – but don’t mention why!!

I feel like I am having some symptoms right now – but I don’t know if this is all psychosymatic or what???  I feel like I have felt crampy and bloated for the past 4 days.  And I don’t usually get that way until much closer to period – but again, it could all be in my head.  I will likely take a test sometime next week and see…  in the meantime, will keep busy!!
