@MrsTVLover:  yes, responsibility has EVERYTHING to do with quality control at condom factories. they can absolutely control every possible environmental factor which can result in an oops, so you’re totally right.

@Haruyou:  I think that the decision on when to have sex is an extremely personal one and is different for each person. I think you and your SO are being responsible by not wanting to take a risk of getting pregnant now. You can use two forms of contraceptions (such as BC pills with a condom). You do run a very slight risk of getting pregnant that way, but it’s less risky then not using anything at all; that’s like Baby Roulette right there.

You don’t need to decide anything immediately. Just take your time and think about what is best for each of you personally and what is best for you as a couple. You can always talk things through over the course of your relationship and see how your thoughts on the matter change. If that means being abstinent then thats perfectly fine. . . and if that means having sex then that’s cool too – just make sure you use protection.

P.S. Sex can be really fun when done right and when you’re ready.
