@candy11: I’ll be graduating next May if all goes according to plan.  I’m planning to write my proposal over the summer, collect data in the fall, and finish writing to defend in February – so a busy 9 months ahead of me!  DH and I are planning to start trying this fall or winter (October or later), so I’m hoping I’ll already be pregnant for graduation!  When are you planning to finish?

@bella128:  That’s such an exciting thought!  I won’t have a baby by this time next year, but I’m hoping to be pregnant next Mother’s Day Smile

@SadieBee:  If some magic works out, I could potentially graduate fall 2014 if not spring 2015. So we might start trying next spring the earliest.

@bella128:  Aw! That’s so sweet and exciting! I would love to announce to family we’re pregnant on a holiday (I would especially love to tell everyone on April Fool’s day, hahaha!)

@cant.wait.to.be.mrs.d:  Sorry to hear that =( Thank you for being our fearless leader! It may be good to take a break and pull the pressure off of both of you. The first time I read your post I thought you said you were training for a marathon in Germany which was impressive! Seperately they are still just as impressive though, lol. I hope you and DH enjoy some time together.

@cant.wait.to.be.mrs.d:  I’m sorry. I’m sure that your DH is just nervous and needs some time to warm up to the idea? Definitely take some time to plan that trip to germany, and train! Get your mind off it. It’ll work itself out xoxo

@Silverblade:  As soon as there is something to show on my chart, I’ll for sure share.  🙂

@candy11:  I ran my 4th full marathon in April.  I figured that would probably be my last big race until post baby.  But I am trying to maintain some distance (6 or so miles on the weekends) because I always run a local 15k race in October.  Other than that, my DH and I are planning a Mexico vacation for late summer.  We’re thinking Riviera Maya.

@candy11:  We are getting married in September!  And a bunch of our friends are getting married this summer, so enjoying all of those weddings.  After the wedding we’re going on a short, beachy trip, and then a longer ski trip out west sometime in the winter.  Our TTC date is essentially based on wanting to do those things first, at this point… I also want to save money and appreciate this time of not having anyone depend on us.  Smile

Today a coworker (who has a 2yo and a 6yo) was talking about how her weekend revolved around the kids’ activities, and how she was only with her husband for 2 or 3 years before they had a baby… she was like, “enjoy this time before you have kids!”  She also said that I should enjoy my 20s, which I took as a compliment since I turn 31 in a few weeks!  Cool

Hi bees, I am so excited today. For those of you who have been here longer know that we were planning to start TTC next spring. I thought about it and think that starting this fall would work best for my schedule, and it will also be our 2 year wedding anniversary in September.

I haven’t ask DH, and I am a little nervous! I am almost 100% sure he might say yes. He is in the middle of switching jobs, so we’ll see what he says.

That means that we can start sooner than expected and the dates would work out perfectly.

Smile I feel butterflies in my stomach!
