@suckapunch:  Ha, my husband is Puerto Rican, so you’d think we’d have the chance to have tan redheads, but he’s actually the whitest Hispanic guy I’ve ever met.  He was actually a redhead until he was about 3 (he still has some red in his beard).

@MrsPaulsBabyBallerina:  That totally makes sense.  While I understand not wanting to raise unnecessary stress, I kind of wish they’d just be clearer about a recommendation– I mean, I’m not a medical professional, you are!  So should I do it or no?  You know?  Oh well.  I am pretty cautious so I think I’ll probably just end up doing it to get it out of the way.

@suckapunch:  hahaha, I’ve tanned before too, but it came kind of obvious because I actually freckle… a lot… and there’s something about tan with a TON of freckles that doesn’t read right. I’m going to try and get some color this summer since I want to spend a lot of time outside, but only tans from the sun for now on, lol! Did the tan look good on him or did it just look like it sat on top of his skin? I haven’t spray tanned but I’ve done the lotions and I did the beds for a bit (bad, I know!) I’m curious what a spray tan would look like.

I often find myself checking out the maternity clothes section of ebay. Not gonan lie, been tempted to order some stuff, especially shirts that look like they could be regular shirts too! But I figured it’s best to wait till I am actually pregnant so I can plan with the seasons!

@PunkinLover:   I’m the same way too, I am going off the Nuvaring next week and I want to chart a while just to see how my cycles are.  (And I’m an over planner too haha).  I’ve been on BC for over 11 years so I’m assuming my cycle is going to be wonky and weird.

It is exciting but kinda freaky to finally get off it and see how my body reacts.  I just have so many questions like if I will O or have long cycles..  If I will break out with acne..  If my sex drive will increase..  any side effects for going off…

Hey ladies!  I love it when Darling Husband brings up baby stuff on his own – it makes me feel like he’s starting to think about it more and be more ready.  Today he brought up baby names and made a new suggestion.  We’d talked about it before, and we’ve actually had a boy’s name picked out for a long time.  His family’s tradition is to give the first boy the father’s name as a middle name, and we both really like the name Alexander.  This morning he suggested Alexander Leonidas, instead of using his name for the middle name, because he likes the idea of using strong Greek leader names Smile I think it’s adorable.  And last night he was talking about his high school reunion being next year, and how he hopes to impress people – he’s working on losing weight and is starting a business, and he said “Hopefully I’ll be all buff, and we’ll be successful, and you’ll probably be pregnant…” Yay!

@Mrs. Dragon:  I’m late to the table on this one…but CONGRATS!!

This is my first month charting. I haven’t been on HBC for years, but I wanted to see for myself if I am ovulating. It’s the dumbest thing…I’m a woman, there is therefore a perfectly good chance I ovulate most months, but looking at my chart seeing the sustained high temperatures now 5 days past ovulation gets me SO EXCITED. To actually see real proof that I can physically create a baby has me over the moon. I’m not sure exactly what I was expecting. It’s just nerves I guess  now that I’m only 3 and half months to go, it’s like the pressure is on my body to function LOL.
