@b00kbug:  So great that your bride-friend is supportive! One less thing to have to fret about.. How’s that shoulder feeling?

@Kate0558:  This is my last BC month too!! We will probably try to be careful for the last half of November, and then I think all bets are off! Eeek!

@littlebee3:  How exciting!! Good luck!

@SadieBee:  So glad you decided to talk to him, that’s great! And as for birthdays, mine is at the end of January, my dad’s is the beginning of February, and my mom’s is the beginning of March, so I’m hoping that one of us gets to hear my BFP news for a birthday announcement! That’s so crazy that you and your Darling Husband were born on the same day so close to the same time!

@MissCountryGirl727:  I think you just have to be up front with him and tell him how you’re feeling. I can’t imagine that the concern of you being pregnant in the heat of summer is really what’s holding him up with wanting to pull the goalie.

@E_Lynne615:  We discussed it some more today.

My friend texted me a picture of a pregnancy test that had a very faint line, and wanted to know if I thought she was pregnant.  The line is very very faint, but she said she’s been throwing up randomly for a week and when she woke up at 5am to throw up, she took the test with her second morning urine.  I told her she might be PG, and to try another test with her FMU tomorrow.  Her and her Darling Husband have a 13 month old, and quit preventing about 3 months after he was born, so it’s been almost a year for them to conceive again, although, they weren’t actively “trying”.

I’m happy for her, but I’m also sad and honestly, jealous.  I now have 2 good friends that are PG, as well as my SIL.

This led into another convo with my Darling Husband.  I think the whole being PG in the summer thing was just an excuse.  We’ve been living together for 7 years, but we just bought our first home and moved after we got back from our honeymoon.  He says he wants to get used to paying mortgage and see how our bills will be at our new place so we can set a budget and savings for a baby.  He is mostly concerned with adding the cost of daycare into our budget.  (Understandable!)

Darling Husband said he understands my concerns and how I’m feeling and he can tell that having all these PG friends is making my baby fever worse, so he is comfortable with starting with not preventing in January, and seeing how that goes for us.

@MissCountryGirl727:  My Darling Husband said the same thing about wanting to wait for a bit with needing to pay for a house now. I completely agree, so we are going to wait a few months and talk about TTC in the spring, once we are used to the higher monthy payments.

@E_Lynne615:  How fun! Yea i’ll start charting in november and december is still up in the air… Darling Husband keeps saying he’s gonna knock me up on new years eve. lol. But it all depends on the FW. It gets so real to me when i take my pill because its just like counting down! 9 more days to no more BC!

@Kate0558:  You just inspired me to go count my pills – only EIGHT more days of active pills!! Ahh!!!      Sh*t.just.got.real.  πŸ™‚  But we’ll still try to make ‘good decisions’ as far as staying away from BD during FW this next month, but it’s exciting to think that it could be happening so soon! I’m a teacher, so I’d like to at least be able to start out my classes in September before I go on maternity leave.. but the other part of me just doesn’t care and I want to TTC asap! Haha.. I love that your Darling Husband said he’ll knock you up on NYE..

@MissCountryGirl727:  I’m glad the conversation went well and you are still tentatively planning for January!! Yay! Makes sense that your Darling Husband would want to get a little more settled into the new-house-budget.. but it would still be a good year from now until you’d have the daycare expense! πŸ™‚

@b00kbug:  I’m a high school teacher in a K-12 school, and only the K-1 grades are allowed to dress up for Halloween. But I’m also a college volleyball coach and we are having a Halloween practice tomorrow! It’s always hilarious because we make the girls do their warmups/etc in their costumes…  Then Darling Husband and I are hosting our annual Halloween bash this weekend – he’s going to be Bob Ross and I’m going to be a “happy tree”!   I love the idea of a ninja librarian! Awesome!

Just stopping by to say that a year from now I might (will hopefully) be pregnant.  I get super excited thinking about this!  It is weird thinking that this will hopefully be the last year with no kiddos (on the way)!  Right now I’m trying to plan our last vacation, as just the two of us.  I (hope) that this will be a good time to start TTC.

@auggiefrog:  It’s hard to believe, that we could also be having our first little one around this time next year possibly November or after if all goes well. When do you guys plan to ttc?

Baby fever is literally killing me. I am so beyond anxious to just start our family!! So right now I am focusing on getting a full time job that pays better than my current job (even though I love my current job, I could easily be making five dollars more an hour elsewhere) so that we can pay off my student loans as well as get me a new car that isn’t 13 years old and only 2 doors.. though I will miss my cute yellow VW bug, it just isn’t baby-convenient! But… other than that and taking some little weekend trips here and there, I don’t have much going on or to aim for before we start TTC and it is so hard. I like… read reviews on strollers. Last night I looked at all my projected fertile windows for time between next summer (when we start TTC) and as far after that which would lead to a baby born before my 25th bday.. That sounds confusing, we are just wanting to have our first before I turn 25 because I’ll still be on my dad’s insurance, and it’s AMAZING… I could basically have all the appointments and give birth for like $500… so it seems good πŸ™‚ Anyway.. I wrote down all the dates and looked at the projected due dates for them all… And then I was like, Oh if we get pregnant on x round, we can announce to family at y occassion and it would be so cute! blah blahblah. babies on the brain and I seriously need an intervention haha

@artichokey:  I think we’re doing the same thing, NTNP for a few months and TTC for reals around summer time. I hope we get KU’ed at the same time lol! I will turn 29.
