When will you TTC?: January 2014 (hopefully!  DH is applying for jobs now, and we’re waiting until the job situation is all worked out)

What are you doing to get ready to TTC?: Went off the pill in July, charting, prenatal vitamins, trying to lose some weight but, more importantly, working out regularly and eating healthy to get my body as ready as possible for pregnancy

Do you chart? Link to the chart: http://www.fertilityfriend.com/home/sadiebee

What are you most looking forward to now that FALL is finally here?: I LOOOOVE fall!  It’s my favorite season.  Looking forward to cool, crisp temperatures (sweater weather!), the colors, going hiking and horseback riding, and everything pumpkin flavored πŸ™‚

When will you TTC?: March!  It it March yet?  Why is it not March yet?!

What are you doing to get ready to TTC?: Getting as healthy as possible, debating staying on a medication, quit smoking, will start prenatals in January or so.  Trying to decide when to go off of BC.  DH is super scared that I’ll get pregnant before we want if I go off before March, which I get.  And it sounds silly but he really doesn’t want me to be due during gun hunting season.  Which actually makes sense and I don’t want to be due right after that in case something happens and I go early.  Wouldn’t want him to be four hours away in the woods with no cell service!  But I know that it will likely take a few months for my cycle to get back on track.  Any advice on this?  I’m good with going off December/January, but I know it will take a while for me to get the charting thing down.

Do you chart? Link to the chart: Not yet! Still on BC.

What are you most looking forward to now that FALL is finally here?: Boots, scarves, fires in the fireplace, college football, falling leaves, honeycrisp apples, EVERYTHING!  Being one season closer to MARCH!

When will you TTC?: NTNP in February. For my 31st birthday, I’m getting my IUD out. It expires in August anyway, but still. Thrilling!

What are you doing to get ready to TTC?: Switched to prenatals, lots of strength training, making lists of baby stuff, knitting tiny sweaters for friends and for keeping.

Do you chart? Link to the chart: Yep, but it’s seriously wonky. I’m not sure if I need to start temping vaginally or if my thermometer just needs a new battery but I have such weird, rocky temperatures it’s maddening.

What are you most looking forward to now that FALL is finally here?: Knitting! I’ve been a machine as of late. I made a baby blanket, an infinity scarf, a pair of mittens and a baby sweater this month. I’m working on another pair of mittens to finish tomorrow. Mostly just looking forward to winter because once it’s over, DH will be done with school and we can start the house-hunting and TTC process!

When will you TTC?: September 2014.  When we got married last September, we had set September 2014 as our tentative TTC date.  Mostly because that gave us some newlywed time and that’s also when I turn 30.  We considered starting this winter but now we are both in a wedding late next summer where we will have to travel so now September 2014 is back to being the best timeline.  Hard to believe that’s only a year away!

What are you doing to get ready to TTC?: Mostly trying to get our fixer-upper home as fixed up as we can before we have a baby and less time and disposable income. I’m also getting some dental work done and eating better/exercising more.

Do you chart? Link to the chart:I’ve been charting for over a year now because we chart for TTA purposes.  http://www.fertilityfriend.com/home/mkat37

What are you most looking foward to now that FALL is finally here?: Honestly, not much!  I hate that summer is over.  It’s just soooooo short here and fall pretty much just means winter is just waiting to show it’s ugly face.  Sure, fall is pretty to look at but it really doesn’t excite me.  Except for pumpkin spice lattes.

Age: 26, DH is almost 28

When will you TTC?: our “official” TTC start date is right after Thanksgiving….although we may get a little crazy and ditch the protection mid-November πŸ˜‰ we’re aiming for a due date after June/early July, basically.

What are you doing to get ready to TTC?: stopped BC in July, taking pre-natals, trying to figure out what is going on with my cycle (I’ve only had one period since stopping the pill) and getting my thyroid re-checked (TSH had increased when I had it checked in August)

Do you chart? Link to the chart: not exactly…only tracking my cycles with FF thus far, but I bought OPKs and may start temping to help figure out my wonky cycle

What are you most looking forward to now that FALL is finally here?: pumpkin everything, cooler weather, chili, sweaters, fall beers (until I’m KU, ha)…I love fall!!

When will you TTC?: on October 1st! That’s really close.

What are you doing to get ready to TTC?: Exercising more, stopped taking BC, waiting for my period to show up. Also mentally dropping my fizzy drink habit. I am actually a lot better about it now, but it’s still hard some days.

Do you chart? Link to the chart: No chart, just going to have fun for awhile and see what happens.

What are you most looking forward to now that FALL is finally here?: Well, i’m really excited that it is spring here and that I get to spend more time in my garden. Trying to get on top of it before I get a BFP. There’s a lot of work to do here. I’m also looking forward to Christmas because I think we’re hosting it this year. Oh, and building my online business to get some extra income.

@tampalove35:  I think thats normal….actually if we were not a little bit scare/nervous i would think there is something wrong with us! lol I am totally feeling the same way. I think DH might be a little nervous too. Every now and then I just kind of throw out comments like “your going to be such a great dad” (when appropriate! LOL) just to help re assure him.  Hows your DH doing?

Today, I had a very interesting conversation with my mother, and she shared with me that she had a dream in which I am pregnant. She said she has had this dream twice already. I think she is thinking about me and pregnancy too much because she is concerned that getting pregnant at this very moment is not ideal since I am working too many jobs and barely have time to do other things besides work and school. Has something like this happened to you before?

@cant.wait.to.be.mrs.d:  aww..i’m sorry to hear that. how abut takign a few days off to concentrate on things that you won’t be able to do whilst KU?

I think i’m doing a good job of holding myself together on that front. I know that if i got KU it would actually be more problematic due to timing – wedding is in a few months then for the exciting part – we have our HM!! I’ve been more exctied about that than the actual wedding. This may be selfish, but i want to enjoy it. I’ve put so much work into it but it will be our down time. Funnily enough, we will be away durign our fertile window so i have no problem BD then!
