Yay new thread!
Roll call info:
Age/DH’s age: 27/30
When will you TTC?: July 2015
What are you doing to get ready to TTC?: Taking prenatals everyday, reading a lot on getting my body ready for conception and pregnancy, generally trying to be healthy
Do you chart? Link to the chart: http://www.fertilityfriend.com/home/ruby26
What do you do and your DH do for a living, and will you both keep working after having kids?: DH is a high school PE teacher and I’m an elementary special education teacher. We will both keep working after kids (unless DH starts to make huge amounts of money, we need both incomes).
Age/DH’s age: I’ll be 24 in a couple weeks, he’s 24
When will you TTC?: August 2015
What are you doing to get ready to TTC?: Nothing yet. I will go off BC in May when my prescription runs out and I will start pre-natals at that time.
Do you chart? Link to the chart: No. I don’t plan to chart at all unless we have difficulty getting pregnant by just having fun with it.
What do you do and your DH do for a living, and will you both keep working after having kids?: I’m a nursing student and will graduate before a baby would arrive. DH is a safety manager for a company, but may be job searching soon as he isn’t very happy in his current position. We will both continue to work after baby comes, due to enjoying our comfortable lifestyle with 2 incomes!
But, TBH, I doubt it will happen that quickly; I’m traveling extensively for work for the next 8 weeks, and won’t be on the same coast as DH for all but 2 weeks. One of those two weeks is an estimated fertile window, but it feels best not to get my hopes up about it (cross country travel almost always messes with my cycle). It’s going to be VERY hard (we haven’t spent a day apart for over a year).
Roll call info:
Age/DH’s age: We’re both 27. I’m nearly 28 and he’s not far behind.
When will you TTC?: In the Spring, although I’m feeling like we might be ready sooner
What are you doing to get ready to TTC?: I’ve already gone off the pill. It makes me grumpy and I’m terribly busy at work so I was always forgetting to take it at the same time each day anyway which just screwed me up. I’m focusing more on eating healthy and exercising and am constantly reading articles on do’s and do not’s.
Do you chart? Link to the chart: Not yet. I’ve just started looking into it and probably will start to chart in the winter.
What do you do and your DH do for a living, and will you both keep working after having kids?: He is a court diversion manager and I’m an administrative assistant. I’ll go on maternity leave but when that’s up I’d like to go back to work at least part-time. He’ll continue to work full-time.

Welcome to all the new waiting to TTC bees. I think I see new faces. I lost track of who was here already from previous threads. 🙂
Please add me to November 2014!
Roll call info: Age/DH’s age: I’m 23, he’s 26
When will you TTC?: november officially! I have just gone off the pill and I’m sooo excited. DH and I are open to the possibility of getting pregnant earlier but the official plan is November!
What are you doing to get ready to TTC?: Taking folic acid and have just started charting!
Do you chart? Link to the chart: yes but only 3 days in so will link once I’m a little further along! 🙂
What do you do and your DH do for a living, and will you both keep working after having kids?: I just work at the local mail centre sorting the mail and DH is a software developer. I will be a Stay-At-Home Mom once I have kids but will keep chipping away at university papers as I want to be a preschool teacher once they’re all in school!
Yay new thread!!
Age/DH’s age: 25/24
When will you TTC?: October 2014!! Right after I turn 26!
What are you doing to get ready to TTC?: Taking prenatals, running, charting, eating healthy, drinking green smoothies, and I just got my Tdap and flu shots!!
Do you chart? Link to the chart: Yes I chart, but on paper.
What do you do and your DH do for a living, and will you both keep working after having kids?: DH is an electrical engineer for a power company and I am a mathematics instructor at a univeristy. His salary is awesome, so after we have a baby I will stay at home. My salary is pretty pitiful and I have a really bad commute to work, so I’m not upset at all about quitting after baby. If I get bored staying at home, I might look for an adjunct position where I can just teach one class on TR evenings or something, but for the most part I’m really looking forward to being a SAHM!
A colleague just shared that his wife is expecting their third child. I honestly don’t know how they do it on what it seems just one income and it’s not much. He said how they were waiting until he was done with school to have another one, and apparently they were taking all the precautions, yeah right! Hmmm I wonder how much he really knows about this woman cycle thing. I didn’t know if I should feel good or bad, good because I would hate to be in his situation or bad that there are such fertile couples out there arghh.
There is a September POAS board up! Can’t believe I’ll be graduating in a few days! Pulling the goalie in 12 days. But who is counting? Lol.
