LizLemon:  I love the name Claire! I would have loved to have used it but it didn’t work well with my last name. Plus hubby wasn’t a huge fan.

RunnerBride13:  Thanks! Glad to be back anticipating TTC again. My daughter was 5 months on October 2nd. Cliche, but it really does go by so fast!

Roll call info:

Age/DH’s age: 31/26 (Yep, I’m older )

When will you TTC?:  December 2015ish? We’ve talked generally about waiting until at least our 1 year anniversary (August 2015) but not much more in-depth than that.

What are you doing to get ready to TTC?:  Getting healthier, saving up PTO

Do you chart? Link to the chart: With Clue – but I’m still on the pill, so its just to get used to it and only moods/pain/AF stuff.

If you had boy and girl twins today, what would you name them?: Part of me really hopes we end up with twins the first go-round… If I didn’t have to consult with the DH their names would be Charlotte and Liam

Ugh – this waiting / supressing the urge that crops up every so often is tough! I keep telling my DH I need a kitten to placate my mild baby fever…

Well in a surprise turn of events we actually started ttc last weekend instead of waiting for the wedding in a couple of months. My fi was adamant about waiting but then was suddenly ‘ok lets just do this, i’m going to gove you sperm’ haha. So as it was my ovulation week this week I am unexpectedly in the tww and super excited. I dont think our bd times were perfect but at least it’s a bit of practice.

Mrs. Coyote:  Baby rabies has been hitting me, too, lately.  Especially since AF started so I’m just so lovingly hormonal, and its maaaaybe the last period before TTC?  We’re still up in the air about it, but DH keeps saying that he’s sticking with his “1-2(or 2-3? it changes) weeks after his birthday (which was last Monday!) deadline.

But, we’re also planning to go the Rennaisance Faire this weekend (mead! mulled wine!), so that’s making the baby rabies calm down some!

UsagiTsukino:  It is always SO much worse for me when AF comes. DH always knows that AF is here because I cannot shut up about having a baby hahaha. I just have to get through one more cycle and then it’s TTC time! Ren Faire sounds like so much fun and I do love my mead!

So does anyone know what’s a Pregnancy Class C drug and how long you need to stop taking it before TTC?

RunnerBride13:  I’m still waiting! But instead of July 2015 it looks like we might start trying in January 2015! Super excited but freaking out! January will be here in no time!

UsagiTsukino:  Ren Faire with mead sounds so much fun!

We had to cancel our white water rafting this weekend and I’m totally bummed! But sitting in a raft in thunderstorms and 50 degree weather sounds pretty miserable. So new weekend plans for us!

I take out my last ring on Monday and I’m pretty pumped! I kind of hope it takes awhile so that I can enjoy the TTC period, but I don’t wan to take forever!

JenGirl:  So I think my determinism in actually visiting the genetics clinic last week, complaining about the wait time may have helped. I told them that we are TTC now (end of the month was the original plan) and it actually did push me up the wait list. I have an appointment for Nov 12th now! I don’t know what happens in the 1st appointment though. Like do we just talk about what’s going on and then we have to book separately to actually run the test (is it blood work?).

But overall, since the appointment is just a month away, we have pretty much decided to hold off on starting to TTC at the end of the month. I’m kind of bummed about it because I really thought this was the last cycle before we could start and I’m super impatient (thanks to baby rabies!) but I think it’s better to go in to TTC fully knowing what to expect with CF. But I don’t need to change my graduation month because I O so early in December (Dec 1 or 2 according to FF) that we will probably being TTC in late November…so I guess keep me for November. When I look at it that way, it doesn’t seem too bad, lol

Late to this party! New job is keeping me super busy. But the fall is flying by, and TTC will be here before I know it, so time to update 🙂

Roll call info:

Age/DH’s age: 30, 34

When will you TTC?:  End of November or beginning of December, depending on cycle length. So close!!

What are you doing to get ready to TTC?:  Have been working out to get my baseline strength up, have been off BC since June, & taking prenatals.

Do you chart? Link to the chart: http://www.fertilityfriend.com/home/brlabrat

If you had boy and girl twins today, what would you name them?: Probably Cordelia and Eliot. Always changing though! I think we’ll know when the time is right.

In other news, I recently confirmed that my new job has paid maternity leave. Not too shabby!

RunnerBride13:  Thanks!

I will definitely talk to me doctor about it. I’m just not really sure what to do since we think we want to start trying in January, but my appointment to see him isn’t until January. His night and weekend appointments fill up like 3 months in advance. I guess I might have to take a day off of work to talk to him about it.

I didn’t think eye drops would be a big del, y’know? So many things to learn!
