LizLemon:  Oh man. I can’t even imagine how hard that’s going to be. I’m sure she’ll be super happy for you but also feel terrible that it’s not her. The fact that you know it’s going to suck for her just makes it even worse to think about the possibility. I hope your friend is able to get pregnant sooner than later. I love hearing about those who overcame the struggle and finally had their wish come true.

MrsFairyBee:  Saturday I’ll be 9DPO, but as I said I’ll still be testing throughout next week with cheapies. I would like to know before we see our friends because drinking could/probably will ensue and while I’m all about “drink til it’s pink”, I’m too curious to wait toooo long. We wouldn’t drink much but I’m also not worried about wasting an 88 cent test especially when I’ve heard good things about them. If I remember when I’m at Target next I’ll be picking up FRERs in case I use up all four of my cheapies and AF still doesn’t show when she should or I get a positive. I really don’t think I am. But “maybe?” is still trying to nibble at the back of my mind, especially because DH keeps bringing it up.

Age/DH’s age: 32/31

When will you TTC?: As soon as we get hitched. About 9 months time.

What are you doing to get ready to TTC?: Quitting smoking. Also have an appointment with my doctor to review the antidepressants I am on to decide if I stay on them or get off them for pregnancy.

Do you chart? Link to the chart: Nope.

If you had boy and girl twins today, what would you name them?

Leo and Emilia or Zoe.

RunnerBride13:  Technically, yes. Sperm can live 3-5 days if they have the best condition like lots of EWCM to hang out in. I’ve heard 6 days befote, but general consensus seems to be 5 at most.

RunnerBride13:  Vitex is exactly what I was going to take and it’s also because of what I’ve heard on WB! I can imagine your frustration about the period. My longest cycle was a 112 days due to PCOS. I wish I had known about Vitex back then. I only learned about it after I got back on the pill, but I plan on starting it as soon as we’re ready to go off BC. I’d love to hear how you like it once you’ve used it for a little while. Amazon reviews are really great. Btw, I love the name Chloe!

RunnerBride13:  Definitely give Vitex a try! As you know, AF took 7 long months to show after I stopped bcp….and only 20 days after I started Vitex. I am like a walking infomercial for the stuff.

I need advice!

If you hated your job but didn’t want to have to start over before TTC’ing (mat leave, benefits, good pay…) would you TTC and go on mat leave, or would you pursue your dream career first and then go for it after a year? I’m so so torn. We want to start our family, but an opportunity has come up. I just don’t know.
